Modern Slavery Statement
At New Pathways Recruitment, we are committed to combating modern slavery in all its horrific forms.
We understand that as a recruitment company that comes into contact with thousands of job seekers and recruiters every year, we have a responsibility to play our part in making sure that any form of slavery or human trafficking does not have a place anywhere in our business, including our supply chain.
The measures we take to combat slavery and human trafficking and to help identify and report suspicions include:
- Strict Policies and Procedures: We have policies and procedures in place that are a core element of our staff training and daily operations to identify and prevent modern slavery and human trafficking from having any part of the work we do. All policies and procedures are regularly reviewed and updated when necessary to ensure their continued relevance and effectiveness.
- Training and Awareness: We provide employee training that raises awareness around modern slavery and human trafficking issues and highlights areas to look out for in our business to be able to better identify concerns, as well as where and how to report such concerns
- Monitoring Suppliers: We carry out due diligence on all our suppliers to evaluate their compliance with modern slavery legislation and expect all to maintain the same high standards that we set for ourselves.
- Reporting: We have clear channels for employees to report any suspicions or concerns they may have surrounding the issue of modern slavery. All reports are taken seriously and promptly investigated.
- Continual Enhancement: We improve and update our efforts to combat modern slavery by evaluating our policies, procedures, and practices on a regular basis to identify areas that can potentially be improved or strengthened.
- Communication: We regularly communicate our efforts to combat modern slavery to all parties we engage with, including employees, suppliers, and customers.
By taking these measures and remaining vigilant about the areas of our business where modern slavery could potentially occur, we strive to do what we can to ensure all workplaces are fair and ethical and employees are there of their own free will without coercion.
